Summer competition 2011-12

Summer Competition begins on the 15 November at Olympic Pool Civic. Men’s competition is on Tues and Wed nights, Women’s comp on Wed and Thurs nights. Juniors on Friday nights and Sunday afternoon.

The Junior and Senior draws are now available on the ACT Water Polo website through sporting pulse.

The draws are also available for download as an Excel document:

• Senior Draw (xlsx) - draw from round six to semi-finals.
• Junior Draw (xlsx) - full season draw

Please note: Junior competition – the first two Fridays are at CIVIC pool (18 & 25 November) which means not all teams play on this day. Games will also be played on SUNDAYS at the AIS. Please check the draw carefully for these games!!!! We don’t want teams forfeiting games because they were not aware of Sunday games.

Age groupings

Age groupings are defined by the players’ age on 31 December of the year in which the competition finishes. In the case of a ‘Summer Competition’ ACTWPI realises that the competition may begin in one calendar year and finish in the next. Consequently the age definition will rely on the second calendar year.

For Summer 2011/12 this means:

• to play U14's players must be born 1998 or later
• to play U16's players must be born 1996 or later
